An abstract figurative Lithograph showing the combined image of a girl and a horse by the talented trained artist Sonia Lawson, printed in blue, black and white.

Studying at the Royal College of Art and then taking teaching posts at Central St Martins School of Art and back to the Royal College of Art, she has held several solo exhibitions in London including the Zwemmer Gallery, Trafford Gallery and New arts Centre. Her work has been widely exhibited and privately collected throughout the UK, USA, China, Australia, Germany and Switzerland. In addition, one of her commissions was presented by the Archbishop of Canterbury to Pope John Paul II and now proudly resides in the Vatican Collection in Rome.

Signed and numbered XXI in pencil by the artist, stamped with a Y, and inscribed with PIDA 2151 on the reverse.

Original Size: 56 x 76cm

Float mounted within a hand-crafted FSC tulip frame and fitted with a poplar subframe, for additional structural support, and to allow the frame to sit flush against the wall.

UV filtering, anti-reflective glass.

Hand painted in Pointing by Farrow and Ball and waxed finish.
