Frank Lloyd was an American Architect world renowned for his innovative building design, philosophy of “organic architecture”, Taliesin School and its Fellowship.

South African born artist, Eugene Masselink worked as Frank Lloyd Wright’s secretary after joining the Taliesin Fellowship in 1933. He excelled in graphic design and created many embellished elements for Wright in the Taliesin literature, but also on Wright’s structures. He designed murals for the Price House and Price Tower, as well as the iconography at the Annunciation Greek Church in Wisconsin. He lived at the fellowship until his early death, aged 52.

This annually designed new year card is a play between an abstraction of a building with decoration and veiled references to projects they were currently involved in.
